The policies listed below are in place to ensure that all of our guests receive the most hospitable and efficient service that we are can provide.

The health and safety of our team and our guests is our highest priority.  

We are practicing the following safety measures: 

masks at all times (except when eating or drinking)

daily temperature screenings and recording

high traffic areas sanitized every 30 minutes 

no one works if they’re not feeling 100% healthy

all employees are Vaccinated for Covid-19 


Nightbird is a reservation driven restaurant. 

We are more than happy to welcome walk in guests and will accommodate them as much as possible. We have a small 25 seat dining room. If there is a seating preference, we will do our best to honor that request.  The largest group we can accommodate for a regular (non-private) reservation is 6. We offer a 5 course tasting with an optional wine pairing.  We are happy to accommodate any dietary preferences or allergies o the best of our abilities. We do not split tastings

If a party comes minus guests, with no notice, unfortunately we have to charge for the number on that confirmed reservation Seating cannot be guaranteed for any guests in excess of their reservation.

Parties of 6 will have a 20% gratuity added to their bill.

Please indicate any dietary restrictions or food allergies when making your reservation and allow at least 48 hours notice. Due to the complexity and seasonality of the menu, we are not always able to accommodate all requests, but will try our best!

Children

Due to the length of the experience, we do not recommend bringing small children, unless they can partake in the entire tasting menu.

Corkage Policy

$75 per 750mL bottle, up to two bottles. $150 per Magnum bottle. We kindly ask that the wines you bring are not already represented on our list

Late Seating Policy

We ask all of our guests to understand that due to the small nature of our restaurant, and because we have two seatings each night, we are only able to hold your reservation for 15 minutes past your reserved time. Seating beyond the 15 minute grace period cannot be guaranteed, and if we are not able to seat you a cancellation fee will be charged. If you do anticipate a delayed arrival, please contact us as soon as possible at +1 (415) 829-7565.

Cancellation Policy 

Nightbird is a small restaurant and if you wish to cancel or reduce your party size, you must reach someone by phone at the restaurant (415.829.7565) at least forty-eight (48) hours before the reservation for parties of 3 persons or less.  If a reservation is cancelled after the 48 hour window, we charge the card on file $185 per person.

Parties of 4 persons or more require 1-week notice of cancellation. Within a week notice a full charge will be applied to the card on file.

Nightbird has a Zero Tolerance Harassment Policy. Please treat our staff with integrity and kindness, just as we gladly treat our guests.
